7 DAY ITINERARY 1300kms
Please read this page carefully so you know exactly what you are getting from our Cape York
motorcycle tour.
DAY 1 - CAIRNS TO LIONS DEN HOTEL (320kms)
We pick you up from your accommodation in Cairns and head to Ride Industries
Headquarters for a meet & greet and a safety briefing.
We then gear up and jump on your bikes heading straight out onto dirt trails linking up with Black Mountain Road through lush rainforest trails heading North to the Daintree River Village for lunch then cross the Daintree River to enter the famous CREB Track and/or the Bloomfield track taking in the sights of the beautiful Bloomfield River waterfalls with countless creek crossings and mountainous tracks arriving at Lions Den Hotel.
Hot showers and cold beers await you – life is good!

DAY 2 - LIONS DEN HOTEL TO LAKEFIELD NP (Rinyirru) (300kms)
Depart Lions Den Hotel at 8ish and head to Cooktown passing the strange and wonderful rock/boulder mountain called “Black Mountain” and onto the Stare Track which is full of great challenges, sandy sections and many creek crossing to really put your skills to use.
You will notice the scenery change to Savannah Grasslands as we come to Kalpowar Crossing where we camp again under the stars and you have a fish if you want and spot a Croc.

DAY 3 - LAKEFIELD NP TO ARCHER RIVER
(SEXCHANGE HOTEL COEN) (233kms)
The day will see us ride out from Hann River, heading North to Musgrave Station where we will
then move east where the country will really start to change and that Cape York feeling starts to
set in.
We then head onto Lilyvale Station. Onwards from there we start heading north on a few
station tracks, passing many billabongs along the way with ample bird life to look at. The tracks
will turn into less frequented trails and tight sandy sections for you to enjoy with a few creek
crossings thrown in for good measure. Now we are in Lama Lama country we will stop in at
running creek and head out to the beach for a look and test your soft sand riding skills. Back on
the bike now we head to Coen and have lunch at the famous Sexchange hotel, see how we are
traveling for time we might also stop in for a swim down the road at the Coen bend.
From there it’s a straight run to camp to Archer River for the night. Dinner will again be cooked by us followed with some sweets for dessert.

DAY 4 - ARCHER RIVER TO BRAMWELL STATION (205kms)
Leaving Archer River we will follow the road into Lockhart River to inspect the remains of the historic Batavia goldfields and her hidden secrets before continuing on to cross the steep backs of the Pascoe River.
The Frenchman’s Track is one of the high lights of the days riding with plenty of sand and creek crossing to negotiate. We will arrive at the famous Moreton Telegraph Station for lunch on the green grassy lawns. The rest of the afternoon is a lazy ride into Bramwell Roadhouse, where we’ll make camp, have dinner and get ready for the next day of tackling the Old Telegraph Track.

DAY 5 - BRAMWELL STATION TO LOYALTY BEACH
(TELE TRACK Sth & Nth) (220kms)
We leave Bramwell Roadhouse and get straight into the Telegraph Track. We have a big day ahead of us to tackle the entire length of the Telegraph Track with her many stone creek crossing and sandy trails of fun!!
The southern section of the Telegraph track include all the famous creek crossings such as steep banks of Palm CK, impossible Gun Shot Ck and Cockatoo Ck just to name a few.
Along the way we will stop at Fruit Bat and Elliot falls for a relaxing swim. The Northern section of the Telegraph Track sees more fabulous creeks and sandy trails for the rest of the day.
We join back up with the main road and head for the magnificent Jardine River where we cross on
the local ferry heading for the top of Australia, on the way checking out some WW2 air wrecks and then ride into camp at Loyalty Beach to enjoy the sunset over the water.

DAY 6 - LOYALTY BEACH TO THE TIP OF AUSTRALIA (160kms)
First things first get breakfast out of the way then on the bikes hitting the single trails to the one and only Croc Tent for all your Cape York shirts, coolers and stickers.
We then head into tropical rain forest where we park our motorcycles and walk over a rocky escarpment revealing breathtaking views of the most northern tip of Australia and celebrate the ride at Cape York’s most northerly point with a picture at the sign, a memory you will cherish for years to come.
Before lunch we will ride the 5 beaches and finish the ride off with a couple more small trails, and stop in at punsand bay for lunch and a beer to celebrate your achievements of the last 6 days.
We then head back to camp where we will have dinner on the beach at the restaurant for your last night.

DAY 7 - FLY OUT
Flying out of Cape York (Bamaga Dept 11.30am to Cairns Arrive 1.30am).
